Last month, Adam Bonomo was hired as the new Director of Pretreatment Compliance for CWS! Having spent nearly 6 years at TDEC working in pretreatment, Adam has a strong regulatory background and has had ample experience with pretreatment regulations at both the state and federal level. He says, “That, coupled with my extensive knowledge of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulatory framework is what makes me a good fit as Director of Pretreatment Compliance here at CWS.”
When asked what his #1 goal is as Head of the Pretreatment program, he said, “I am most excited to share my knowledge and experience in pretreatment with our employees. I plan to host a monthly training virtually to help educate our Project Managers about Pretreatment and be a resource to the company and ultimately our clients. The better informed and qualified our workforce is, the better we can work together to ensure that we meet our goals in compliance, safety, and the protection of the environment.”
Adam lives in Nashville, TN with his fiancée, Rachel. “We are getting married in Oaxaca, Mexico this fall, so we are very excited for that, of course.” He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (“Go Vols!”) and he is looking forward to some healthy college football rivalry with his new coworkers here at CWS!
