GET YOUR CERTIFICATION IN THE NEW YEAR

Do you typically make a New Year’s resolution?  If so, make getting your water or wastewater certification(s) a part of your 2025 goals!  If you aren’t the resolution-making type person, maybe the inspiration could be career growth or even a monetary reward?  Let CWS’s training team help you reach your goals in the new year.

The current water and wastewater training classes are wrapping up in December, but the new sessions will begin on January 24, 2025.  There are two levels of Water courses - Basic and Advanced - and one for Wastewater.  All classes meet on Fridays via Microsoft Teams.  There is no cost for you to participate and any CWS employee is welcome to join.  The only investments you will need to make is that of time and effort.  It is important that you are committed to setting aside time to attend class and studying as necessary.

If you are still hesitant to join, let me share some numbers with you as encouragement.  CWS began keeping track of the exam success rate in October 2019.  Last month marked five years!  In those five years, employees have passed a total of 234 certification exams - 145 in Water and 89 in Wastewater.  So far, in 2024, employees have passed 61 exams!   No matter what their motivation - a new position on their team, providing for their family, opportunities to relocate, or the certification bonus - these employees are evidence it CAN be done!
