Meter Reading Services to Begin in January

CWS was recently awarded the contract for Meter Reading Services for the City of Liberty, South Carolina.  The contract will begin on January 1, 2025.  

Drew Langston, State Director for South Carolina, said that the contract is only short-term right now, but hopes that it will turn into a long-term contract in the near future.  “CWS was hired to increase the efficiency of the meter reading process and reduce the number of manual reads that the city was having to do each month.  I’m confident that we will exceed their expectations.”

One part-time employee will provide the meter reading services for approximately 1,800 meters under the direction of CWS Area Manager, Tommy Staton.
