REQUIRED:  Annual Anti-Harassment & Discrimination Training

Beginning this year, we are instituting annual Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Training that will take place every March. This training is focused on creating a healthy and safe work environment that creates a sense of common purpose, and is free from aggressive pressure, intimidation, and discrimination.

On March 1, 2025, everyone was assigned the training module titled Anti-Harassment & Harassment for Employees in KPA. This training is mandatory for all employees and needs to be completed by March 31st.

Do You Have a Child Graduating from High School This Year?  Apply Now for a CWS Scholarship!

Just a reminder - the scholarship application process is underway!   Since 2018, CWS has awarded $63,000 in scholarships to seniors throughout the company’s footprint.  This year, we are again committed to helping deserving students pursue their dreams with ten scholarships available - eight for the schools in the communities in which we serve and two additional scholarships have been earmarked just for our CWS family no matter which high school they attend.  If you have a child or grandchild who is graduating from high school this year, encourage them to apply!  All applications are due by April 1st.

BCBS Telehealth Offers Virtual Doctors Visits

When you are not feeling well, the last thing you want to do is drive to a doctor’s office and sit in the waiting room for lengthy periods of time.  Thankfully, our insurance provider – Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina – offers a telehealth option for our employees who are enrolled in the health insurance plan.  Talk to a doctor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by online video, mobile app, or phone.   Update 2/21/25:  BCBS has agreed to change the telehealth benefit to no charge, no deductible for the PPO plans and no charge after the deductible for the HDHP plan. BCBS is adjusting any claims already processed for 2025.Click here for more information.
