The CWS Safety Department is gearing up for site visits starting in March!

With today being March 1st, we wanted to let you all know that the Safety Department will begin hitting the road this month, with plans to visit multiple locations every month. While they hope to assess compliance and any opportunities for improvement regarding Health & Safety at our projects, the main goal is simply to increase visibility and engage with the Operations team. This initiative aims to refresh the image of the Safety Department and highlight their role as a valuable resource for CWS, showcasing their identity and purpose directly to our employees. Our safety team is a useful tool in the toolbox and they are here for you!

The message they aim to convey is that we are all integral members of the CWS team, promoting unity rather than a "you versus them" mindset. With our CWS Mission being:

“We seek to be the preferred partner for quality water and wastewater services and solutions”

The Safety Department also shares and promotes this mission. They will accomplish that by equipping Operations with the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to improve workplace Safety & Health, ultimately to help CWS be that preferred partner.
