2024 is here, which means the new PTO schedule is now in effect!
The update regarding our Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick time management is aimed at providing greater flexibility and clarity in how you manage your time off.
PTO Policy Enhancement: Our PTO policy will now allow the use of time in .25-hour increments, giving you more control over your use of accrued PTO. This change is intended to better accommodate your individual needs and promote a healthier work-life balance.
PTO Balance Visibility: Following this week’s payroll runs, we will be updating the visibility of your PTO balances to ensure they accurately reflect your current accrued time off.
Reminder regarding sick time:
Roll Over Limits: You will be able to roll over up to the maximum balance of 250 hours of sick time now, and up to 125 hours in 2025. Post-2025, all remaining sick hours will no longer be available.
Sick Time Accrual and Usage: Sick time will no longer accrue. Your existing balance will be available solely for sick leave purposes. Please note that CWS may require a medical excuse for any sick time used.
Sick Time Payout and Conversion: Sick time will not be paid out upon separation and cannot be converted into PTO. It remains designated exclusively for sick leave purposes.
Below is the new PTO Schedule that was previously communicated and is now effective. The new PTO policy is designed to provide you with more flexibility when scheduling your accrued paid time off.
These adjustments are aligned with our commitment to providing a more flexible and transparent time-off system.
