The Florida team has been working around the clock since Monday (8/1) in response to Tropical Storm Debby, and their efforts have led to zero system failures or BWA’s being issued. They’ve also been coordinating pump and haul operations for the Sebring Ridge system due to a blocked sewer force main.
Meanwhile, the St. Mary’s GA team has been staffing the wastewater treatment plant 24/7 since Monday (8/1). Despite flows being three times the normal rate, they’ve managed to prevent any treatment bypasses.
Shoutout to the entire team in Florida and Georgia for their tireless efforts during this storm.
Dana Hill, VP of Operations over the eastern region, explains, “these are just 2 examples - I appreciate the entire eastern regions’ work in preparation for TS Debby that began on the 1st and continued though the weekend as well as their response which is ongoing. They are a testament to why CWS is a proven and preferred partner in operations and maintenance.”
