CWS encourages our employees to refer talented and qualified candidates to our company. There is great importance in referrals, and we believe YOU as our employees, know what’s best for our company and we wish to reward you for those referral efforts.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

  • Once the candidate referred is hired, you will receive a $1,000 referral award paid out in two payments. The first $500 will be paid within 30 days of the new employee’s start date. The second $500 will be paid after his/her 6-month anniversary.

  • To receive payment for the referral, the Employee Referral Reward Form must be filled out and returned to the Project Manager who is responsible for submitting this to Human Resources.

  • The referred candidate MUST provide the referring employee’s name on the application to be considered eligible.

  • Referrals must be hired as permanent full- or part-time employees (not as temporary employees or contractors.)

  • There is no cap on the number of referrals an employee can make. All referrals will be paid accordingly.

  • The employee who makes the referral must still be employed by CWS to receive any payment.

  • If a candidate is referred by more than one employee, the first referral received will be the one rewarded if the candidate is hired.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

All CWS employees are eligible to take part in this program except for:

• Senior Management

• Recruiters and hiring managers for positions which they’re hiring

*Hiring managers can’t refer anyone for a position for which they are directly or indirectly responsible for but, can refer someone for a position that’s in a different department, office or function. This exception doesn’t apply to executives and senior management.

We encourage you to check our open positions and consider your social networks and external networks as potential resources for referred candidates.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Rewards may be subject to taxation. Please contact HR or our referral program manager for more information.

We reserve the right to change the rewards and or program at any time. We’ll communicate any change clearly and timely. Employees who referred candidates prior to any reward or program change will still receive the appropriate reward.
