CMS DIVISION CONTINUES TO BUILD CLIENT BASE

The CMS Division continues to build its client base through a variety of new work.   While the team has five contracts currently pending, several more have recently been executed.  Three of the most notable include work for the City of Attalla in Alabama, as well as the Fiddlesticks Country Club in Ft. Myers and the City of Deltona, both in Florida.

For the City of Attalla, CWS was first retained to clear the Right of Way (ROW) to access the 30” sewer line. That project began September 9th and was completed just two days later.  Next week, the crew will begin work to CCTV and clean approximately 11,000 feet of 30” sewer line – a project that is expected to take about two weeks to complete.  The total cost for both projects is $54,000.

In Florida, the Fiddlesticks Country Club recently began construction on the installation of a pre-packaged wastewater treatment plant.  The $609,000 project broke ground on September 1st and includes all site work, electrical, concrete, and welding of a new 100,000 GPD wastewater treatment plant.  The project also includes the abandonment of the existing wastewater treatment plant.  Construction should take three to four months to complete.

A $1.5 million lift station rehab for the City of Deltona will be starting construction soon.  The scope of work includes the demo of the existing structure and installation of new wet well and city standard lift station to replace existing Lift Station #7. The new lift station will have an emergency power generator, permanent bypass pumping system, and remote telemetry. A new grind pump station, power supply, and force main intended to serve existing homes at the Waycross Circle cul de sac will also be installed as part of this year- long project.
