Team Learns of PFAS Advancements

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Lindsay Boone, an experienced chemist from Pace Analytical, delivered a detailed and informative presentation to an engaged audience of 37 individuals from CWS. Lindsay's presentation focused on the latest advancements in PFAS Analytical Methods and Regulations for Drinking Water and Wastewater. Throughout her presentation, she thoroughly covered various aspects including PFAS Chemistry, Sources & Receivers, Regulatory Updates, Testing Methods, and Field Sampling and Resources. Additionally, Lindsay provided in-depth insights on UCMR 5 and discussed the SDWA March 2023 EPA proposed rule to establish enforceable MCLs, offering the audience a comprehensive understanding of the important regulatory developments in the field.
