ClearWater Solutions is excited to announce several changes in personnel within the South Carolina team.  First, Chris Thomas has been named Special Projects Manager for the company.  Many of you already know Chris through his wastewater training classes.  In addition, he has served as a Project Manager and Regional Manager since he began work with CWS in 2016.  With more than 26 years of water and wastewater experience, he has developed a significant amount of technical expertise and a strong understanding of operational challenges. In this new position, Chris will focus on troubleshooting, training, start-up assistance, and due diligence for all projects company-wide.

“Chris’ expertise will play a critical role in our company’s ability to better serve to our clients,” said VP of Operations, Dana Hill.  “This new position will also support our growing Capital Management Solutions (CMS) Division, as well as the start-up activities at our new projects.  With his knowledge, there is no doubt that Chris is the right person for this role.”

With Chris’ move to Special Projects, Drew Langston has been named Interim State Director for South Carolina.  Drew is also the Project Manager for the City of Pickens’ project, a position he has held since he was hired in November 2022.  In this capacity, he has worked with the City’s Administrator to direct the water and wastewater utilities including drinking water production, distribution, wastewater treatment, and collections.   His background includes eight years in environmental science and project management.  Before beginning work with CWS, Drew was a Production Manager for Washington County Service Authority where he managed the Water Reclamations Department.

According to Hill, “Drew has only been with CWS a short time, but he has already proven himself a leader in the company.  He has a wide range of knowledge and will be able to use his experience to support our teams across the state.”
