FEELING SICK?  VIRTUAL DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE TO EMPLOYEES

When you are not feeling well, the last thing you want to do is drive to a doctor’s office and sit in the waiting room for lengthy periods of time.  Thankfully, our insurance provider – Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina – offers a telehealth option for our employees who are enrolled in the health insurance plan.  Talk to a doctor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by online video, mobile app, or phone.  

The BCBS telehealth plan is administered by MDLIVE – a leading vendor of virtual visits with board-certified Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Pediatric specialists. They can also send a prescription to your local pharmacy for you.

MDLIVE treats non-emergency medical issues such as:

• Cold and Flu Symptoms

• Sore Throat

• Acne

• Constipation and Diarrhea

• Cough

• Insect Bites

• Bronchitis and Other Respiratory Infections

• Pink Eye

• Ear Infections

• Allergies

• Migraines

• Rashes & Other Skin Irritations

• Urinary Tract Infections

The cost for the service is based on your particular plan:
3300 Deductible – Subject to deductible and coinsurance
PPO 1500 – $25.00 copay
PPO 500 – $25.000 copay
